Building Collapse in Thailand
At least 11 workers were killed and 18 others were injured when a large concrete beam collapsed Tuesday at a under construction site just outside Bangkok.
Sixteen people we injured while they were having lunch at the site. Some of the injured were in a critical condition in hospital, Seven workers died at the scene and four died in hospital, adding the victims were both Thais and migration workers.
Most of the bodies had now been pulled from rubble at the construction site for a public hospital, a team of volunteer rescuers put the death toll at 10 as of Tuesday afternoon, adding they were using a digger to remove debris from the site of the collapsed structure as emergency teams searched for more bodies.
