Aok Sokun kanha, The first line singer in Hang Meas Production

     Aok Sokun Kanha was born on September 14, 1986 (1987 base on other source) in Chamka Mon Commune, Phnom Penh. Her Father is a musician, Aok Bony lives in Australia and her mother En Sokun was a teacher in Royal University of Fine Art, divorced and live with Kanha and her sister. Kanha is a eldest of three sibling. she graduated bachelor degree in Royal University of Fine Art, major traditional dance.

She performed a beautiful solo blessing dance (Robam Chun Por). She is now helping her mother managing her beauty salon when she is free. Before becoming a first line of Hang Meas Production, she worked for EV production, short for Ear Vathana, a producer's name while she in studying Khmer traditional dance. 

Kanha and her mother often went to Ear Vathana's house for singing Karaoke after knowing there was a potential makerting opportunity, Ear Vathana who was later a producer of Reaksmey Stueng Sangkae (RSK) Production decided to create an album for Aok Sokun Kanha together with Khum Puna Daeth, Youk Thirotha, Sem Sangvath, and Bou Vichet in 1998.

Kanha participated in a singing contest but didn't get any award but later joined another contest call Punlork Dara (Emerging Stars) still didn't obtain award either. Despite of falling the young star didn't give up but kept going on her singing career. She then Sang for U2 club at night time after EV production was disbanded few year later. She studied in day time. 

She was recognized for her charming style and voice, after worked there for 2 years and because of popular songs giving her a chance to perform in France in 2004. Aok Sokun Kanha joined Sunday Production because of U2 production face that it nearly went bankrupt. She work with Mr. Rethy Dona who used to be her song composer in U2 on June 23, 2007.

Seeing that Kanha can show off her talent on CTN (Cambodia Television Network) and especially when big concerts are set up in the late 2007, Aok Sokun Kanha signed a five year contract to be dependent singer in Reaksmey Hang Meas (HM) Production. Moving from one production to another doesn't really affect to her popularity but being in HM where she can produce a lot of songs both modern and traditional. 

The popularity keep going upward day by day so in mid of 2010 she had a chance to perform at Australia with Mr. Preab Sovath and Mr. Rethy Dona's band which was the sake of Cambodia orphan via the Save Cambodia Children Fund Australia. Aok Sokun Kanha doesn't only have chances to present herself abroad but also throughout her home country, especially provincial via different sponsors.
